- 4-5 medium potatoes boiled & peeled
- 1 cup curd whisked
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 pinch hing
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1.5 cups water
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Boil and peel potatoes, cut into cubes.
Whisk curd until smooth, mix with turmeric and coriander powder.
Heat ghee, add cumin, hing, green chilies, and ginger paste.
Add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, then slowly add curd while stirring.
Add potatoes, water and cook for 7-8 minutes until gravy thickens.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
